Signcerely Yours is a fictitious business that specializes in the installation of signposts for real estate agents and companies. BERNATH COMPUTER has created a web application that will give your sign installation company an online presence, and automate your manual procedures for tracking of installations, and billing.

The website has a Customer Facing side, and an Administration side (accessible from the menus on the left). Use the userid's and passwords below to access the the sample website.

Features

  • Customer facing side will be customized with your company's look and feel
  • Online ordering. Customer chooses from products and services you define on the Administration side
  • Online customer registration can create single agent accounts or Master accounts for an agency with multiple agents. Admin user for the Master account can see all orders, but individual agents will only see their own orders (example: log in as mainstreet for Master, or llawless for Agent)
  • For Master accounts, the Admin can set up whether agents can create new orders, or only view orders created in their behalf (llawless and bartyman can only view orders, jimdandy can create)
  • Customer is emailed a copy of the order. Copy of order is also sent to orders email account
  • Customer can modify order until it is "locked", track their own orders, call for pickup
  • Online form for asking questions sends email to an info account
  • Admin side has an "Alerts" queue that notifies when the customer has done something like create an order, ask a question, called for pickup, or alerts for low inventory
  • Numerous Order reports allow tracking of orders by customer, city, various dates. You can allways know where your signs are
  • Order reports generate a pdf file of multiple paginated orders in a format to hand out to installers, or in customer order format
  • Inventory of Posts, signs, riders can be tracked
  • Enter News and Messages that the customer sees when they log on. Specific customers can be targeted with a message.
  • Maintenance screens for Service Areas your company covers by city. Cities can have a surcharge or toll charge that will be automatically added to the order. The days a city can be serviced can be specified.
  • Up to four levels pricing so that different customers can have different pricing (i.e., standard, discounted, etc.)
  • Flexible Service Levels. Define standard leadtime for installs and pickups. You can have customer selectable expedited service levels (like next day or same day) that automatically add rush charges. Service levels can be specified by city, and what days service is available by city. All these interact with the Requested Install Date the customer is entering so they have instant feedback whether service is available on that day, whether there are charges, etc. A test page is provided so you can simulate a customer making an order, and the effect of different configuration settings.
  • Define Products and Charges how you want them. Installable items, services, added charges. Four levels of pricing. Control if a product is customer-selectable, subject to rent charges, taxable, shows on price list to customer, whether it shows up during initial order or only after installation has occurred
  • Maintain Riders, Company Signs, Agents Personalized Riders, Personalized Company Signs. Define and track inventory for stock riders, company signs, agents personalized riders, company signs personalized for agents.
  • Flexible Business Rules controlled by configuration settings
  • Installations and pickups can be tracked by Installer, and a report of orders installed/pickup up produced by installer generated for payroll purposes
  • Rental charges can be automatically calculated and added when an installation goes past your standard period. Taxes can be charged on rents.
  • Full workflow processing tracks receiving new orders, scheduling for install and printing orders for the installers, Installers can log their own installs online, reporting of when an order is due to be picked up, Installers can log pickups
  • Security: sensitive information such as passwords, credit card numbers are encrypted in the database and sent over a secure (SSL) connection
  • Billing Subsystem. Create and print monthly invoices/statements, enter payments, send electronic copies to customers. Statements are viewable online on the customer side. Multiple statements can be printed at once via a generated pdf
  • Credit Card Payments. Available as an option, customers can make payments online via credit card.
  • Tax and Revenue Reports. Revenue by date range and category (i.e., product type, services, added charges). Tax reports track quarterly taxes charged on rents charges and taxable items.
  • Bulk Email Distribution. Create email templates in rich text editor. Customizable distribution lists. Payment reminders, past due notices.
